We have stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving evening for the last several years. The grandchildren always enjoy the pool & the parents enjoy sitting around the pool talking. When we arrived around 6pm, there was a sign indicating the pool & whirlpool was broken. It would have been nice to have been notified that this had happened. Obviously it was a huge disappointment. The lady on duty did her best to make it up to us and we do appreciate that. But I had very disappointed grandchildren. I plan to book a different hotel next year 😥

Nice, solid Holiday Inn room, typical of the brand. Helpful staff, mostly nice. Doesn't take cash for snacks, have to use credit card for small purchases. (Was told that's the "cash" policy - to use a credit card 🤔.) Clean room, well lit. Mini fridge, and a wall mounted mini-split HVAC unit which is a bit different from the brand. In-house burger restaurant, with limited menu options. Several amenities like a pool etc. Close to the shopping/dining/fuel.

We loved staying here! The room was immaculate and roomy. Loved the big modern shower. Absolutely a 5 star experience. Restaurant was serving delicious food. Complimentary breakfast was great. Enjoyed an 11:00 checkout time.

Driving through and need a place to close my eyes for the night. I stay at holiday inns most of the time. This one was a little run down and the walls must be paper thin or the other guest were loud. I can hear there phone conversations in my room and people walking the halls and closing there doors. Overall it was comfortable and clean. They didn’t have free breakfast but they had a restaurant which was actually really good

DO NOT STAY HERE IN THE W8NTER!!!
Heat Pumps in this hotel do not work if under 40 degrees. Tne staff is very much aware of this but act like they do not know what you are talk8ng about. Went to our 1st room no heat. Went back down and demanded a new room. Went and moved still no heat. Went down again and had to asked for an electric heater. They have a room full of them. Went to the elevator and another customer said it's like this all the time and it took 2 for his room to get warm. Sure enough had to to down and get another one. Took from 8 to 10 pm for the room to heat to 72. The exhaust in bathroom just blows cold air in fan was not sucking anything. Elevator 1 was broken down. Next morning the elevator repair guy set off fire alarm and staff had a difficult time figuring out how to shut it off. Very rude awakening! Horrible experience!

The hotel and room was very nice. I wish there was more longterm stay type amenities at the hotel. It would be nice to have bigger fridge, grill, and guest laundry. I work on the road on two week long rotations and little things like that make a huge difference.

I'm a fan of Salina anyway, and this hotel just adds to it. Prices are great, customer service is on point, rooms are clean and they have a nice restaurant/ bar. It's also in walking distance of everything you need.
